Why First Responders?:

Experience with the current healthcare system has shown there needs to be a change in how musculoskeletal conditions are treated, as well as how fitness is addressed.

First Responders have a unique blend of physical, mental, and emotional demands. Their job requires them to be able to perform a multitude of tasks of varying intensity, frequency, and duration- often without a decompression periods between tasks. Thus, at an increased risk for physical injury and mental health disorders.

Typical physical therapy models miss the mark for so many in the first responder community because there is a lack of dedicated space and equipment, as well as a lack of specialized knowledge to address their unique needs.

Kelsey is driven to transform how this community is looked after. Providing healthcare upstream, with focus on preventative care, and preventing health crisis’, reducing prevalence of acute and chronic injury, and improving quality of life.
